Leadership

Karen Lin
Product and Engineering

Karen has a record of launching b2b and consumer products in various startups, has built systems for hospitals to measure patient safety across multiple countries. She represented Emotivo in the NY Healthcare Entrepreneurship Community Challenge affiliated with Northwell Health and Hofstra University. She has participated in Facebook’s fbFund Rev incubator.

Louis Gutierrez, PhD
Data Science

Dr. Gutierrez has built Machine Learning models for detecting fraud, reducing racial bias, personalizing fitness regimens, etc. at various startups, acquired by publicly traded companies. He received a PhD in Computer Science with a focus on Machine Learning from RPI. He was an NSF GK-12 fellow, Mickey Leland Energy fellow, and recipient of CHCI (Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute) scholarship for Latinx leaders.

Ye Kyung Song, MD, PhD
Clinical Advisor

Dr. Song is a resident psychiatrist at Duke. Her PhD research and subsequent work have centered around the well-being of healthcare professionals and addressing burnout from creating system- and institutional-level changes. She acknowledges that these systems and institutions have historically been unjust and unequal, and takes special interest in projects that rectify this.

Eric Park
Technical Advisor

Eric is a seasoned entrepreneur and hacker — his most recent endeavors include Quest Visual, creator of the real time language translation app Word Lens, which was acquired and integrated into Google Translate, and Cadence, a YCombinator (W20) startup that helped remote teams build rapport. He is currently CEO of a machine learning infrastructure provider.

Stephanie Rosso, PhD
Clinical Advisor

Dr. Rosso has 20+ years as a clinical psychologist. She has spent much of the last decade at UCSF optimizing the EHR to reduce documentation burden on mental health providers, and supervising her team on quality of care. She is a passionate advocate for social justice and wants to help providers focus on delivering services more than documenting and meeting regulations.
